How it works

Three steps. About forty minutes, total.

Most of the work happens before any paperwork comes out.

  1. You tell me what matters

Your doctors, your prescriptions with dosages, your pharmacy, whether you travel, and what you can comfortably spend each month. Twenty minutes on the phone or at a kitchen table in Anthem — your choice.

  2. I run the comparison

Every plan available in your ZIP, priced against your actual medication list at your actual pharmacy, with your doctors checked against each network. Then I show you the two or three that survive — including where each one falls short.

  3. You decide, and I stay

You pick. I handle the enrolment paperwork, and then I am still your agent — for the billing question in March, the network change in July, and the review every fall before the plan year rolls over.

I am independent, which means I am not tied to one carrier's product shelf and I am not paid more to steer you toward a particular plan. The carriers pay the same commission whichever one you choose, and it costs you nothing either way — so the only thing left to optimise is whether the plan is right.

After twenty-two years, the part I am actually good at is the unglamorous bit: reading a formulary properly, catching the network change before it becomes a surprise bill, and telling you plainly when the plan you are on is already the right one.

In their words

What people actually say afterwards.

  • I had a stack of mail two inches thick and no idea which envelope mattered. We sat down, went through my prescriptions one at a time, and I walked out understanding exactly what I signed up for and why.

Sample Client Anthem, AZ · Part D review
  • What I appreciated most was being told what would not work for me. My cardiologist was not in one of the plans and that was the end of that conversation — no talking me into it.

Sample Client New River, AZ · Turning 65
  • We moved here from out of state and thought we had to start over from scratch. One phone call sorted out what carried over, what did not, and what the deadline was.

Service area

Local means local.

Based in Anthem, 85086. Plan availability in Medicare is set county by county, and the differences between neighbouring ZIPs are real — which is the whole argument for using somebody who works this patch.

Common questions

The things everybody asks first.

What does it cost to work with you?

Nothing. There is no fee to you at any point. Insurance carriers pay a set commission to licensed agents, and that amount is the same whether you enroll through me, through a call center, or directly with the carrier. Your premium does not go up for having help.

Do you only sell Medicare?

Yes. Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D and long-term care planning — that is the whole practice. Twenty-two years in one lane means I know these plans well rather than knowing a dozen product lines poorly.

When can I actually make a change to my Medicare coverage?

The main windows are your Initial Enrollment Period around your 65th birthday, the Annual Enrollment Period from October 15 to December 7 each year, the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period from January 1 to March 31, and Special Enrollment Periods triggered by life events like moving or losing employer coverage. Our Enrollment Window Checker will pin down your exact dates.

I already have a plan. Is it worth reviewing?

Almost always, yes. Formularies, premiums, networks and extra benefits all reset every January. The most expensive mistake I see is a plan that was an excellent fit three years ago and quietly stopped being one. A review takes about twenty minutes and costs nothing.

Do we have to meet in person?

Your choice. I am based in Anthem and happy to meet face to face here, in Carefree, in New River or anywhere in the 85086 area. Plenty of clients would rather do the whole thing by phone or video, and that works just as well.

What should I have ready before we talk?

Your red, white and blue Medicare card if you have one, a list of your prescriptions with dosages, the names of the doctors you want to keep, and your preferred pharmacy. That is enough to do real work in a single conversation.
